Social justice generally refers to the idea of creating an egalitarian society or institution that is based on the principles of equality and solidarity, that understands and values human rights, and that recognizes the dignity of every human being. Social Justice emerged in the late twentieth centuary. It was primarily influenced by Philosopher John Rawls; it is distinct from religious teachings. Social Justice is based on the concepts of Human rights and Equality. The policies are aimed at achieving equality of opportunity and to manufacture equality.
Social justice is based on the concepts of human rights and equality and involves a greater degree of economic egalitarianism through progressive taxation, income redistribution, or even property redistribution. These policies aim to achieve what developmental economists refer to as more equality of opportunity than may currently exist in some societies, and to manufacture equality of outcome in cases where incidental inequalities appear in a procedurally just system.
Hundreds of Social Service Bodies are functioning all over the world. Nevertheless, there are many thousands of people in the world who are deprived of Human Rights, Dignity and other conditions for a peaceful living, as contemplated under the Laws and obligatory on the part of such service bodies.
